FAQ 10022
How do I move a show file from a USB stick to a floppy disk, so I can load into a Pearl 2004?

You have two options:

On a Pearl Expert or a Pearl 2008 you can load the show into the console and then save it to the floppy disk drive

or

Assuming you have a PC with Floppy drive and a USB port

  1. Place the memory stick in a USB port and browse to the folder Avolites ... Pearlexp ... Shows

  2. Here you will find a folder for each show saved, the folders are named PEXP0001 to PEXPxxxx, where xxxx is the last show saved

  3. If you wish to copy over the last show saved then open the folder containing the highest number following PEXP, or simply sort by date and time and open the most recent folder created.

  4. You will now see three files, Avo.sys, mempool.sys and a third file called PEXPSHW.xml

  5. Double click on the xxx.xml file, this will open in windows explorer, or alternatively you can open this file in a text editor.

  6. Here you will see the ShowName for the show saved in this folder.

  7. Once you have established which show you wish to copy to the floppy disk, copy the Avo.sys and Mempool.sys files to the floppy
