I appear to have DMX related problems!
As crazy as it sounds check the DMX lead from the desk to the moving light, ensuring there are no breaks in the cable.

Also check that you have assigned the patch to the DMX output you are using.

On the Borris2 motherboard, in the top left corner you will see four white IC's (6N137).
Beside each IC there is an LED.
When each LED is lit and slightly flashing this indicates the IC is outputting a DMX signal. If any of the LED's are not on, start by changing the opto-coupler (6N137) with the spare supplied. If the LED turns on the fault may be cured.

If all four LED's are on and there is no DMX output change the driver chip (SN75174N) which is situated between the 5pin XLR connector and the four opto-couplers.

On the Borris1 motherboard you will find two LED's either side of the DMX driver chip (SN75174).
These LED's indicate the status of the DMX output

If these LED's are not lit then change the driver chip with the spare supplied.
