Do
NOT fit the following components on the Borris2 motherboard
(BRS 1050C) :-
- Crystal X300
(24MHz)
- Capacitors C300 and C301
(22pF)
- Capacitor BY300
(100nF)
- The 68pin PLCC socket for IC300 and the ST90R40
processor.
Fit the following to
the Borris2 motherboard :-
- In place of the 68pin PLCC socket fit six 9way pin headers (03-05-0014)
and two 7way pin headers (03-05-0013).
Assembly
Details
- Carefully fit the assembled
ST Adaptor Board (SAB 6815A) onto the pin headers on the Borris2 motherboard –
labelled IC300.
Ensure that the adaptor board is firmly secured by the M3
screw.
- Fit a jumper in position 4
of the Program Links on Borris2
