It has been found that some encoders do not function smoothly. This can sometimes be seen in the diagnostic screen or when controlling moving lights. Fitting a capacitor on the U/D pin of the IC's which act as counters for the encoders eliminates the noise problem. |

Undo the 2 Dzus fasteners on the front panel and lift up. (hinge is at rear of desk)

Find the two 'TURNER' IC's; IC11 and IC12 on the front panel circuit board.

The 470pF capacitors should be fitted between PIN 2 (U/D) and 10 (GND) of each IC using the pads of the IC sockets as a connection point.
