Avolites reports that PLASA 2004 was its “Best ever!”.

Anyone who’s ever visited Avolites at this frenetic and lively exhibition knows how hectic the stand gets seeing all our colleagues and friends from across the world. This year we saw over 1000 people just on the first day! 
Steve Warren exclaimed, "We just need more time with all of you - you will all have to come up to visit us at Avolites London". 
 
Avo showed its full and dynamic range of lighting control products at the show, highlighting the newest Avo products – the eDMX, the ART 2000s stand-alone dimmer and the D4 Desktop, all of which were seen in prototype at PLASA 2003. All aroused intense interest and activity.
 
PLASA 2004 was clearly a crescendo to an already incredibly buoyant year, with UK sales up over 50% and significant growth across all of the markets in the face of a strong pound. 
Anyone seeing Steve, Koy or May at PLASA would have heard them glowing with pride when telling of the “Largest ever collection of touring dimmers ever in one place”, with over 70 ART 2000/48 Dimmer Racks at Pinewood Studios, on the colossal set of movie, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.
On the Monday night of the show, Avolites held it’s traditional distributors party, social event and 2004 Awards ceremony. This was again staged at Motion nightclub in central London – where everyone had a fantastic time and partied well into the night.
 
Once again, the event offered the chance for the Avolites London team to say a big thank-you for all the hard work worldwide by the Avo team. In what has also been a fantastic year globally, the 2004 Avolites Distributor Awards was a close run competition this year, with the following emerging as winners :

(2) Award For Outstanding New Distributor – Verylight, Portugal
(3) Award for Outstanding Technical Support – Audiolink, Italy
(4) Award for Consistent Growth - D & E, China
(5) Award for The Most Pro-active Distributor – Bofill & Associados, Spain
(6) Award For Best Sales Performance - Avolites Middle East
(7) Award for Most Phone Calls out of Office Hours - Luis Pedro, Verylight, Portugal 
 
The high energy Awards presentation and summation of the year’s performance was given by May Lee and Koy Neminathan with plenty of physical gesticulation, mime-style support and encouragement from Steve Warren, forced to remain silent through losing his voice by the end of Day 2 of PLASA!!
