The Opening & Closing of
the SEA Games XXI

The Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), was devised by Laung Sukhumnaipradit, the then Vice-President of the Thailand Olympic Committee.
The founding members were Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Singapore, Indonesia, The Philippines and Brunei Darussalam joined later to bring the total to 10 members.
The Games were spread over ten days and included over thirty different
events.
