Alpha Stage on the Lowlands Festival 2001

This festival occurred during the hottest week of the summer of 2001.
With temperatures in excess of of 35 Celsius outside ......
Try to imagine what it rose to inside with over 20,000 people partying!!!

Two sahara fans and two standing fans were used to cool us and the visiting LD’s
from bands such as Prodigy, Muse, Manu Chao, Anouk, Live, Tricky, Delinquent Habits, System of a Down, Stone Temple Pilots, Pulp, Hooverphonic.

There was even an inter-cooling systems for the 13 dimmer and mains racks that were in use backstage.
