I started my career at a band from São Paulo called
Made in Brazil, in 1978.
Two years later, I was working with the top names of Brazilian music
like
Gilberto Gil, Rita Lee & Tutti Frutti, Gal Costa, Elba Ramalho, Ney
Matogrosso, among others ...
In 1984, I started working at the Brazilian company Poladian
Productions (Studio Hum) in the market of big concerts. At that
occasion, I could work with the most important names of national and
international music, such as RPM, Blits, Eduardo Duzek, João Bosco,
Caetano Veloso, James Taylor, Paco de Lucia, Ray Conniff, Tina
Tunner and The Police were some of them ...
In the following year, I was responsible for the lighting of two big
Brazilian bands: Uktraje a Rigor and RPM.
A few years later, I started a new job in the market of lighting for
television, where I have met one of the best Brazilian directors of
photography, Mr. Cezar Douglas, (In Memoriam).
In 1990, I took over the Lighting Supervisor position at Globo
Network, best known as Globo TV, one of the largest Networks
Television in Brazil, working with fiction, journalism and special
series.
Some time later, I have worked with almost all television
broadcasters in Brazil.
I took part of the greatest international concerts in Brazil:
The Rolling Stones -Kiss - U2 - Madonna - Queen -
Iron Maiden.
And also big festivals such as all editions of Rock in Rio.
Nowadays I work as a Director of Photography and Light Designer
Free-lancer. |
