Steve (Stevey-B) Barnett) - a brief history

Steve has worked at many regional theatres including Windsor, Farnham and Woking.
For 8 years he worked at the Royal National Theatre on such productions as King Lear with which he toured to Greece and Turkey, Guys and Dolls, The Mysteries, Anything Goes and Aristophanes Frogs, which he re-lit for the NTs Education Department tour. In addition he assisted David Hersey on My Fair Lady and Peter Pan (re-lighting the revival), Rick Fisher on A Winters Tale, Mark Jonathan on The Waiting Room, Mathew Richardson on Remember This, Ian Scott on Frogs and Peter Mumford on Mother Courage.
His own lighting credits include Sparkleshark at the Nationals Lyttelton Theatre; Sing Yer Heart Out For The Lads, Shadow Of A Boy, The Mentalists, and ClosingTime all in the National's Loft Theatre; Carmen and Lelisir dAmore for Surrey Opera; Bedroom Farce and Blythe Spirit for The Redgrave Theatre. His most recent work includes Calvino at BAC - a 'scratch' performance; Spirit of the Celts at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, Evelyn Glennies innovative multi-media show Shadow (which has toured the UK and Europe with more dates
