Lives in the Los Angeles area, where his work has illuminated plays, opera, musicals, industrials, and ballet for the majority of his life. Jared's many design affiliations include the Norris Performing Arts Center, Open Gate Theatre, Dance Corps', Music Theatre of Southern California, Full Circle Opera, and the Francisco Martinez
Dance Theatre. Among his favourite projects throughout the years have been: Phantom, 42nd Street, A Chorus Line (tour), Ephraim's Song, Not So Strictly Ballroom and Evita. In 2000 his lighting for Night Must Fall, and Kiss Me, Kate earned him two ACTF design awards. More recently, Jared was asked to be part of the redesign of Disneyland's Innoventions building in Tomorrowland. Currently, he is on the design staff for the Los Angeles Music Center Opera. He is an associate to lighting designer Liz Stillwell, where they have been working together on various projects for the past seven years. Jared became the youngest member to be admitted into the United Scenic Artist-Local 829
