I graduated from the Welsh College of Music and Drama in 1986 with a Diploma in Stage Management and Design. My first job was with the Soho Theatre Company, then based in Riding House Street, where I had my first opportunities to branch into professional lighting design. Then, as now the Theatre Company specialised in cultivating new writing talent.
I continue to have an interest in this type of theatre and went on to work for the Royal Court, Joint Stock and Monstrous Regiment amongst others in the late 80's and early 90's.
In 1987 I also started to work in the corporate sector working on the Euro Tunnel share launch. This side of my work has now taken over and I work exclusively as a lighting designer, operator and technician, for conferences, fashion shows and corporate events.
I started operating moving lights in the early days of the Celco Navigator this did not but me off, eventually Avolites launched the Pearl and this has been my desk of choice ever since.
