You need to feel the need you may have the finest
equipment, the best available computer and the most updated
software.
Without a human being you have nothing. Only the human brain can
adjust to unexpected changes.
As much as modern machinery can do, it misses the finesse to
improvise.
An operator feels what is needed. That a climax in the music needs a
sea of light. Or a moment of complete darkness.
Nowadays the developments in technology go faster than light.
The productions on stage get more and more complex every year.
The profession of operator is a result of this.
Pushing the buttons during the show is not enough anymore.
To make a success of any production the operator needs to be
involved in every step it takes.
The programming of the show, the light computer, but also the
design, the choice of material.
From day one the operator is part of the projects.
