| On the 7th March two brave fellows from
Avolites Ltd. will be running the Bath Half Marathon all in the name of ‘charadee’.
Our Avo athletes, Steve Warren and Alwyn Fernandes, each aim to raise £150
towards their chosen charities - the National Society for Epilepsy (NSE) and the
PSA Welfare and Benevolent Fund (WBF). To do this they must complete the two lap 13.1 mile (21.1km) course, across the River Avon. |

| Steve will be running as part of “Team PSA”,
whose target is to raise £5000 for Lighting and Sound personnel who, along with
their families, are in need of our help. Alwyn, on the other hand, will be running on behalf of the National Society of Epilepsy. |

| Of course it’s not the first time our Avolite
aces have run themselves ragged in the name of ‘fun’ and good causes! Alwyn recently ran the Hastings half marathon in 2009 at a time of one house and 54 minutes, while Phil from our sales team ran the 10K run for Cancer research. Director Richard Salzedo has previously ran the full London, Paris and New York Marathons for charity. Meanwhile, Steve is shocking us all with his new health regime of 2010. First he quit smoking and now Instead of partying until 7 in the morning Steve is up at the crack of dawn in training for the Bath Half Marathon (we can’t quite believe it either!). |
|
| The bath half marathon raised over a staggering £1.2 million last year alone. Let’s see if we can help smash last years total and show our support for some very good causes. | |
