Interview with Martin Brennan during the TPI Awards:

Avolites: What were the biggest challenges of the event?
Martin Brennan: Playing to the toughest critics ever - our industry!
The crew worked so hard to make it happen but as ever, there was not enough programming time as I wanted to have something different for each awards collection walk up.
Also, so many suppliers were very generous with equipment loans and one of my goals was to do justice to them all - I hope I did. (Steve Warren says he did!)

Avolites: Why the choice of Avo Experts?
Martin Brennan: Hands on is great! And it's was clearly the right desk for tonight.

Avolites: Other crew who pushed the boundaries?
Martin Brennan: Spirit Design's crew chief Steve Major was heroic as always and Carl Burnett's attention to detail is brilliant.
The show caller, Alex Clayton was also great and giving enough warning for each event.
But I also must say that everyone worked really hard to pull this off in a day.

Avolites: How long have you worked with Sprit Design?
Martin Brennan: Three and a half years.
They are a great, forward thinking company with a lot of experience in a wide selection of disciplines.

Avolites: What next?
Off to Barcelona on the 7.25 flight tomorrow!
