This year's amazing 'Avolife' party was held at Pacha – an iconic name among the realms of international clubbers of all generations - located at Victoria station in central London. Attracting nearly 1400 people from all areas of the industry, the event was a real showstopper, complete with breath-taking live entertainment from No Fit State Circus.

Again Steve was amazed at the response, "We knew we'd get a good turnout" he comments, "But the reaction is just incredible and a great tribute to the whole Avolife Party ethos of thanking our staff, distributors, agents, dealers, specifiers, advocates, fans and friends for their incredible teamwork and dedication to Avolites throughout the year".

Avolites brought lighting designer and college lecturer Jan Osborne onboard for two days of the exhibition to stage special training seminars on the Pearl Expert and the Avo board operating systems. Eleven technicians, chief LX and board ops, all unfamiliar with the Pearl, signed up for the training, which was designed to see them patching, programming memories and chases and utilizing a whole range of programming tools – all within a 4 hour session. By the end of each, “All could create a set of usable looks and were impressed with the hands-on responsiveness and user-friendliness of the Pearl Expert,” reports Jan.
