The Avolites Technical Sales team has expanded again with the addition of Phil Blue.

“Phil’s characteristic energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude will be a great asset to an already strong line up” says Avolites’ sales director Steve Warren, adding that Blue also has a great sense of humour which will come in handy in the zany world of Avolites and Avolife!

After 8 years working as a sound engineer, Blue decided to cross the threshold from audio to lighting because, “I was keen to expand my horizons and to experience all aspects of the production industry rather than just stick to one area or department”. 

He also admits that he actually undertook plenty of lighting operation whilst working as a house Noize Boy in clubs and venues and discovered that he “Really enjoys it”.

Blue joins lighting designer Dave Parry who also recently joined the Avolites technical sales team in a drive by the company to recruit respected industry individuals with real “hands-on” knowledge of the products and their application.
