The Al Faisaliah Tower in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The largest sale for a single installation of ART dimmers this year went via Avolites' German distributors Trendco for major German rental company Media Spectrum, based in Willich. The order was for 21 ART dimming systems!

Their first job was for lighting the stand of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen (Heidelberg Printing Machines) at the world's largest printing exhibition in Düsseldorf.
The rig contained over 3000 luminaires! ART dimmers were chosen for their reliability and because of the requirement for a 100% duty cycle on each dimmer channel. Two DMX inputs on each channel also allow the dimmer to be driven by two desks.

Shortly afterwards, Avolites Middle East supplied ten new ART dimming systems to Dubai-based Production Technology (Protec).
These were purchased for the launch of the Al Faisaliah Tower and Complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This incredible event - one of the largest lightshows of the year - was designed by Steve Lakin of Protec with lighting direction by Nick Jones.

It used a total of 17 Avolites dimming systems and four Avo consoles - a new Diamond II and Diamond III - and two Pearl 2000's, located at various points of the site.
Celebrating the country's first skyscraper in grand style, it was witnessed live by over half a million people on the streets of Riyadh.

Other recent ART dimmer sales include to Skyscape at The Millennium Dome, The Royal Festival Hall, Hawthorn Theatrical, White Light, Stage Electrics, the Northern Ballet in Leeds, the Warehouse in Edinburgh - in addition to all the usual rock 'n' roll suspects!!
