LDI 09 was the chosen occasion to launch the new collaboration between Avolites and TMB!" enthuses Avolites Commercial Director Steve Warren. Then going on to say "It was clear to us that TMB's respected network accessed an enormous cross section of the lighting industry allowing us to take Avolites to a much wider audience and the very busy LDI we experienced within the TMB Village shows that we are off to a flying start!"

Lily Allen effortlessly commanded the arena at O2 Brixton Academy while on her latest UK tour. With ample space to strut her stuff on stage, lighting designer Chris Bushell vamped up her set with what can only be described as faux Victorian ‘lamp shades’, which acted to set the scene for her ‘loungey’ yet ‘clubby’ design. Lighting, supplied by PRG, took form via an Avolites Diamond4 Vision with Showsafe.

Having secured their album Lungs at no. 2 in the charts, Florence and the Machine are one of today’s freshest bands to date. Launching their UK tour of O2 Academy venues from Bristol on September 17th the band culminated their tour this month with two nights at Brixton. Ed Warren, of Next Level Lights Ltd, mixed the lights on Avolites Diamond4 using equipment supplied by PRG.

The heaving crowds at Brixton’s intimate O2 arena came to soak up Ian Brown’s fractious persona at his eleventh return to the London stage. The lighting never faltered in the capable hands of Lighting Designer Dave ‘Fletch’ Fletcher from Colour Sound Experiment using a Pearl Expert (Titan) and Pearl Tiger.

A crowd of up to 12,000 people came from far and wide as Sheffield Arena played host to 1Xtra’s extravaganza of the UK’s best young artists to date. Lighting visionaries Paula Trounce and Cate Carter of Siyan Ltd. delivered a spectacular optical treat to match a heavy star studded line up. With the combination of their professional know-how, plus our D4 Visions they were able to have as many options open to them as possible. Especially, Paula goes on to say, when controlling several different types of fixtures.
